Radiokomunikace chtějí do nového pražského DVB-T multiplexu přilákat menší klienty

České Radiokomunikace budou tímto krokem na území hlavního města konkurovat společnosti Prague Digital TV, která je operátorem Regionální sítě 4.

Kanál 47, který nedávno pro Regionální síť 12 ze Žižkova přidělil Český telekomunikační úřad (ČTÚ), skutečně patří Českým Radiokomunikacím, respektive jejich sesterské společnosti Czech Digital Group (CDG). Serveru DigiZone.cz to potvrdil Martin Gebauer, člen představenstva této firmy. Z vyjádření Gebauera je patrné, že operátor si od nového multiplexu slibuje přilákání i menších hráčů, pro které nemusí být šíření ve „velkých“ multiplexech finančně atraktivní.

K TÉMATU: ČTÚ zkoordinoval kanál pro nový digitální multiplex v Praze, přímo ze Žižkova

Důvodem nižšího výkonu regionální sítě v porovnání s multiplexy 2 a 3 je připravované pokrytí pouze pražského regionu. CDG plánuje tuto regionální síť využít pro stávající i nové zákazníky, kteří mají zájem vysílat primárně v Praze, uvedl Gebauer a dodal: Termín zahájení vysílání, parametry sítě a další provozní a technické informace závisí mimo jiné i na probíhajících obchodních jednáních, které nyní nemůžeme komentovat. Regionální multiplex na území hlavního města už provozuje firma Prague Digital TV.

Protože ceny za distribuci signálu se liší dle použitého vysílače, výkonu a pokrytého území. Použitím nějakého šumítka na kopci na pokrytí pouze omezené lokality tak lze zachovat nízké ceny pro zájemce o vysílání pouze v této lokalitě. To je byznys, primární zájem je zisk za poskytovanou službu, až sekudární je, jak se s tím technicky poperou zájemci o příjem. Pokud by tomu tak nebylo, nikdo nebude dělat něco, co se mu nevyplatí, to je snad logické.
