Spouštíme nový podcastový seriál Příběhy z historie českého internetu. S naším hostem vzpomínáme na to, jaké bylo jeho „poprvé“.

Televize vysílala reklamu na žvýkačky Pedro, československým prezidentem byl podruhé zvolen Gustáv Husák, na pražském Strahově proběhla 5. Spartakiáda a na kapitalistickém západě skupina Pink Floyd válcovala hitparády s hitem Another Brick in the Wall. Psal se rok 1980 a mladý český student P. K. na vysoké škole zažil osudové setkání.

Spouštíme nový podcastový seriál Příběhy z historie českého internetu. První díly nesou podtitul „Moje poprvé“. S dnešními internetovými osobnostmi v nich vzpomínáme na jejich první zážitky s počítači a internetem.

V první epizodě jsme se vydali do 80. let minulého století. Náš host byl tehdy studentem prvního ročníku Vysoké školy chemicko-technologické a mezi předměty měl i výpočetní techniku. Právě tehdy se poprvé setkal s počítačem. I když… „Říkám, že jsem se s tím počítačem setkal, ale já ho tehdy nikdy ani neviděl,“ popisuje dnes.

Do počítače Tesla 200 se tehdy úlohy zadávaly na děrných štítcích a výsledky se tiskly na papír. Kromě pracovních účelů studenti už tehdy počítač využívali i k zábavě a hraní.

Mimochodem – pamatujete si na film Jáchyme, hoď ho do stroje? Točí se kolem kondiciogramů, které měly předpovídat, jaký bude mít člověk den. A právě tyto kondiciogramy byly tehdy skutečně v módě. „Nikdy jsem si nečetl svoje kondiciogramy, ani jsem žádné neměl, ale tiskli jsme je spolužákům – za drobné protislužby,“ popisuje P. K.
