E-shop Alza.cz spustil novou službu, která využívá jeho síť výdejních boxů. Uživatelé mohou nově posílat balíky z jednoho AlzaBoxu do druhého. Novinka je dostupná v mobilní aplikaci Alzy.

Služba Pošli to AlzaBoxem má několik omezení. Balíky mohou mít maximální rozměry 50 cm x 40 cm x 30 cm a hmotnost do 10 kg. Alza také upozorňuje, že není možné posílat zásilky s hodnotou nad 300 Kč 3000 Kč. Souvisí to s možným odškodněním v případě poškození nebo ztráty zásilky: e-shop v podmínkách služby říká, že v takovém případě vyplatí náhradu právě maximálně 300 Kč 3000 Kč (opraveno: původně Alza.cz na svém webu a v podmínkách uváděla 300 Kč, posléze ale informaci upravila, pozn. redakce).

Odesilatel musí mít u Alzy uživatelský účet a musí se k němu v mobilní aplikaci přihlásit. Cena za odeslání balíku je 69 Kč včetně DPH. Platit se dá jen elektronicky přímo na terminálu Alzaboxu, hotovost nebo bankovní převod Alza nepřijímá. 

Příjemce zásilky aplikaci Alza.cz nepotřebuje, informace potřebné k vyzvednutí balíku mu přijdou v SMS zprávě. Alza slibuje doručení obvykle do tří dnů. Posílání balíků na dobírku zatím e-shop neumožňuje, to se má ale v budoucnu změnit. „V nejbližší době plánujeme zavedení dalších funkcí, které zákazníkům posílání balíků ještě více zpříjemní – připravujeme možnost platby na dobírku, pojištění zásilek i odesílání nadrozměrných balíků,“ doplnila mluvčí firmy Eliška Čeřovská.

Služba Alzy je levnější než posílání balíků přes konkurenční Zásilkovnu. která účtuje za poslání standardního balíku na výdejní místo 89 Kč. Pošli to AlzaBoxem přepravuje balíky do 10 kg, Zásilkovna v základu přepravuje zásilky do 5 kg, za vyšší cenu ale zvládá i nadrozměrné zásilky do 15 kg. 

Alza podle dostupných informací využívá méně odesílacích a výdejních míst: e-shop má celkem k dispozici cca 2500 AlzaBoxů. Zásilkovna operuje v Česku na více než 9 tisících podacích místech (z toho přes 5 tisíc tvoří Z-Boxy). Zásilkovna také za příplatek umožňuje zasílání balíku na dobírku.
