Gartner: prodej smartphonů se ve druhém čtvrtletí propadl o 20 %, v Česku naopak rostl

Společnost Gartner potvrdila masivní celosvětový propad v prodejích chytrých telefonů za druhé čtvrtletí 2020. V Česku, které zažilo výrazný propad již v prvním čtvrtletí, prodej chytrých telefonů ve druhém kvartále naopak velmi mírně rostl.

Celosvětové prodeje chytrých telefonů dělaly za druhé čtvrtletí 295 milionů zařízení, což představuje meziroční pokles o 20,4 %. Ve střední a východní Evropě klesly ve druhém čtvrtletí prodeje klesly jen nepatrně, v Česku dokonce meziročně mírně vzrostly (o 1 %).

Mezi top pěti výrobci chytrých telefonů zaznamenal největší propad prodejů Samsung, naopak prodeje Apple se meziročně téměř nezměnily (naměřený pokles o 0,4 %). Huawei sice také zaznamenala meziroční pokles, prodala ale o 27,4 % chytrých telefonů víc než v prvním čtvrtletí a dělí se tak se Samsungem celosvětově o pozici tržní jedničky. Samsung prodal za Q2 necelých 55 milionů chytrých telefonů, což představuje meziroční pokles o 27,1 %. Podobný výsledek počátkem měsíce potvrdila také analytická společnost Canalys.

Prodeje Huawei meziročně poklesly o 6,8 % na 54 milionů kusů. Společnost zachraňoval především domácí čínský trh, kde firma dosáhla podílu 42,6 %. I tam se ale prodeje chytrých telefonů meziročně propadly o 7 % na necelých 94 milionů kusů. Indie zaznamenala vůbec největší propad prodejů chytrých telefonů (o 46 %) z pěti největších zemí světa.

„Cestovní omezení, uzavření obchodů a také omezení výdajů na zbytné věci během pandemie vedlo letos již ke druhému čtvrtletnímu poklesu v řadě,“ interpretuje čísla ředitel výzkumu Gartner Anshul Gupta. „Zlepšení situace v Číně pak vedlo k vzestupu poptávky oproti předchozímu čtvrtletí,“ dodává.
