CETIN upraví pravidla výběru partnerů, vyhne se tím řízení ÚOHS

Infrastrukturní operátor CETIN musel změnit podmínky výběrových řízení, ve kterých získává partnery pro rozšiřování pevných sítí. Ti například zajišťují souhlasy vlastníků nemovitostí s modernizací přípojky. Operátor se tak vyhnul hrozícímu správnímu řízení ze strany antimonopolního úřadu, které chtěl ÚOHS zahájit kvůli možnému zneužití dominantního postavení. Úřad o tom informoval na svém webu.

K tomu mělo docházet kvůli podmínkám v aukcích, přes které CETIN partnery vybíral. Aukce měly stanoveny velice krátké lhůty, což zvýhodňovalo operátora O2 na úrok dalších soutěžitelů. Na základě šetření úřadu CETIN zveřejní podmínky konkrétního kola aukce alespoň 14 dní dopředu a taktéž je zašle potenciálním účastníkům výběrového řízení.

Antimonopolní úřad dále prověřoval prodej odprodej domény zrychlujemecesko.cz, kterou od CETINu získala společnost O2. Dospěl ale k závěru, že web nebyl významným prodejním kanálem, který by mohl O2 zvýhodnit při získávání nových zákazníků před jinými konkurenty.
