Český startup Oddin.gg sází na esporty, získal stovky milionů

Český technologický startup Oddin.gg, který poskytuje platformu pro esportové sázky, získal na investici nižší stovky milionů korun. Syndikát investorů zastřešuje investiční manažer Roman Nováček, hlavními investory jsou J&T Ventures, RockawayX, Naše Česko, BD Partners a několik dalších investorů.

Oddin umožňuje divákům esportu sázet. Jeho zákazníci jsou však například sázkové kanceláře, jimž Oddin poskytuje platformu a pomáhá počítat kurzy – operuje se statistikami různých hráčů, her, týmů i vývoje, včetně toho, jakého hrdinu si jednotlivci vyberou i jaké nástroje do svého vybavení zvolí. Využívá klasické sportovní statistiky i řadu dalších faktorů, používá analýzy i chytré algoritmy a odhaduje vývoj třeba her Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 nebo třeba League of Legends.

„Před šesti lety jsem ve společnosti rozpoznal potenciál, který ostatní přehlédli a vedl investici v rámci seedového kola. Má důvěra se plně potvrdila výsledky firmy a nynější transakce navazuje na dlouhodobé partnerství,“ říká Nováček. „Oddin.gg dlouhodobě sledujeme a věříme, že buduje klíčovou vrstvu globálního esportového ekosystému. Oceňujeme nejen jejich technologickou vyspělost, ale i strategické směřování, které nyní zahrnuje expanzi do nových vertikál a efektivní využití jejich silné tržní pozice,“ uvádí David Polach, Partner J&T Ventures.

Oddin.gg plánuje posílit své produktové a datové týmy, rozšířit technologické kapacity a expanzi, včetně například Latinské Ameriky. Firma chce produkty rozšířit o nové možnosti personalizace a gamifikace. „Tato investice potvrzuje naši dlouhodobou vizi i postavení globálního lídra v oblasti esport sázek a dává nám výrazný impuls k dosažení dalších milníků,“ věří Vlastimil Venclík, CEO a spoluzakladatel startupu.

Esport sázky zaznamenávají v posledních letech prudký růst a Oddin uvádí, že podle odhadů má hodnota trhu do roku 2027 překročit 20 miliard dolarů. Firma se pohybuje v zisku a od investorů v předchozích letech získala přes 160 milionů korun. Její služby využívá na 300 značek ve světě, včetně Allwynu, Tisportu, brandů Betway, Yolo Group či Stake.
